Our School

St. Walburg School is found in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan, Canada. We are one of 24 schools of the Northwest School Division and the only school in St. Walburg. Located on Highway 26 in west-central Saskatchewan in Treaty 6 territory, St. Walburg is a town of about 590 people. We are a community mainly centered around agriculture, oil, and tourism, offering a unique blend of prairie charm and history and culture.

St. Walburg School is a Prekindergarten to Grade 12 school. We have about 200 students and about 25 staff. The current school opened in April of 1980. We are the St. Walburg Saints, and Wally the St. Bernard is our mascot. We pursue excellence through the virtues of responsibility, acceptance, citizenship, honesty, gratitude, and respect.

At St. Walburg School, you will find excellent facilities to help foster our students’ learning. There is a large gym, two computer labs, an art room, a home ec room, an industrial arts shop, a body break room, a calming room, and a nice open library area.
