St. Walburg School has invited Dwayne Peace from Life Synergy for Youth to present to the Grade 5-12 students. These presentations cover bullying, suicide, self-harm, drugs and alcohol, and making better choices. Dwayne is a retired Calgary Police Officer and author of 'Parenting with Eyes Wide Open'.
On Thursday, March 26, Dwayne will speak with the Grade 5/6 and 6/7 classes. On Friday, March 27, Dwayne will speak with the Grade 8-12 classes.
Dwayne will also be holding a Parent Night on Thursday, March 26 at 7pm at the school. This Parent Night is sponsored by the SCC. We encourage all parents and caregivers to attend and learn how to assist our youth to make better choices.
